Permanent full time opportunity to supervise the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital (RBWH), Building Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) trade staff, contractors and operations and allocate resources with the objective of ensuring the provision of effective and efficient section services.
About you
Manage and supervise staff and contractors by assigning tasks, monitoring progress and ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards, whilst regularly assessing priorities to ensure timely completion of high-priority items.
Use initiative and liaise with other departmental positions to coordinate and deliver timely, high-quality and efficient provision of BEMS services to various clients on the Herston Campus and outlying facilities.
Oversee the management of Building Management System (BMS) systems and other digital platforms essential to role responsibilities, collaborating with contracted BMS and specialist service providers.
Prepare and review equipment specifications, drawings and quantities as required.
Determine budgets and cost estimates for minor and major projects, as well as for equipment replacements and maintenance activities.
