Job Description

We're seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our Launceston Depot in a full-time, permanent role. This is a stable opportunity with a well-established logistics operator, offering consistent work and a strong safety culture.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for the safe, efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, while representing Strait Link professionally at customer sites. The role suits drivers who take pride in their work, follow process, and value working in a supportive team environment.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
* Pick up and deliver freight safely and on schedule
* Load, unload and restrain freight in line with safety requirements
* Complete scanning, Proof of Delivery and consignment documentation
* Comply with road rules, OH&S requirements and customer site procedures
* Maintain professional presentation of yourself, the vehicle and freight
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Current HR licence (manual preferred but not essential)
* Minimum 2 years' truck driving experience
* Experience with general and/or express freight delivery
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Familiarity with radio communication systems (preferred)
* Knowledge of load restraint systems and National Load Restraint Guidelines (desirable)
