As such, we are growing our Marketing and Publicity teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our Launch team on a 12-month contract, based in North Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a truly creative and collaborative environment at Australia's largest publisher.
Main responsibilities :
* Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across Google Network Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), Tiktok, programmatic advertising and any other paid digital advertising
* Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights
* Use data-driven approaches to refine and enhance launch campaigns, as well as identify opportunities for promotion
* Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
* Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to ensure campaigns reach the most relevant audiences
* Maintain a particular focus on finding new and non-traditional book audiences and innovative new release publishing
* Work with the wider team to ensure a cohesive and holistic campaign is produced
* Collaborate with the other Launch team marketers and publicists, other marketing and publicity teams, and the publishing, sales and product teams to create compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences
* Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to enhance campaign effectiveness
* Suggest local content stories to help drive Penguin's brand awareness.
Required Skills and Experience :
* Proven experience in managing Google Network Ads and Meta Ads campaigns and using analytics tools like Google Analytics
* Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including audience segmentation, bidding strategies, and performance tracking
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
* Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and effective ad content
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
