What you'll be doing
* To supervise and manage the efficient running of the diet office, CBORD system and Formula Room on a daily basis, in consultation with the Deputy Head, Dietetics and Nutrition and the Senior N-ICT Dietitian.
* Co-ordinate with the Deputy Head and the Senior N-ICT Dietitian the diet office staff including rostering and leave management.
* Maintain the stock in the diet office and formula room by regular audits of the milk kitchen/diet office and ordering of nutritional products/stationery/office equipment.
Selection Criteria:
* High level customer service skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the use of the telephone.
* Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and team and problem solving skills.
* Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision and use initiative.
* Highly developed computer and administrative skills, including a working knowledge of Cbord and Cerner.
* Previous work experience as a diet supervisor or health services manager, including experience in nutritional screening and clinical duties.
* Knowledge of quality improvement practices in the workplace and ability to lead quality improvement activities.
* Dietary Supervisors Certificate or Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Service Assistant (Nutrition and Dietetics) or food science/nutrition undergraduate qualification or equivalent or relevant experience.
