We are seeking a client advisory focused Commercial Manager to play a pivotal role within a collaborative and progressive team environment.
About the Role
This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with clients, understanding how their businesses operate, and turning financial information into practical, forward-looking advice. Working alongside the firm’s CFO Specialist, you will support a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, helping to strengthen reporting, improve performance visibility, support cashflow planning, and guide informed strategic decision-making. Sitting at the intersection of compliance, commercial finance, and advisory, this opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between technical accounting and real commercial impact.
* Support the delivery of outsourced CFO and advisory services across a portfolio of clients.
* Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and financial insights.
* Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and business planning
* Identify opportunities to improve business performance, profitability, and efficiency.
* Contribute to process improvement, onboarding, and the continued development of the advisory offering.
You
You are commercially minded, naturally curious, and able to see both the detail and the bigger picture. You enjoy turning financial data into practical advice, and you are comfortable speaking with clients in a way that is clear, professional, and easy to understand.
* Demonstrated experience in a Finance Manager, Finance Business Partner, Management Accountant, or Business Advisory role.
* Strong capability across financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
* Confidence in communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience working across a diverse range of sectors, with SME and/or NFP experience viewed favourably.
* Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks, supported by strong Excel capability.
* A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
* Confidence in a client-facing role, including regular on-site client engagement.
