School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Orange Local Government Area

Responsibilities
- Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers and local motorists.
- Be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.
- This is a casual position providing relief at sites in the Orange Local Government Area. Shifts may fall between the school zone hours 8.00–9.30 AM and 2.30–4.00 PM, with a minimum one-hour shift as required Monday to Friday during the school term.
- You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation.

- You\'re a community-minded person who would like to contribute.
- You’d get a kick out of building community relationships and keeping kids safe while earning a weekly wage for doing something you love.
- You\'re reliable and prepared to show up for your community in good or bad weather.
- You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.

Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. Because you’ll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital. We will help you through the process; if you already have a Working with Children Check, that’s fantastic and will speed up the process.

Our talent team will review all applications and contact shortlisted candidates by the week commencing 9 October 2025 for a quick 5–10 minute phone interview, followed by panel interviews. If successful, you will progress to pre-employment checks.
