About Your Role:
As a key member of our team, you will lead and manage maintainers to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe execution of maintenance work.
* Drive leadership in safety, quality, and environmental management, maintaining a safe workplace aligned with industry best practices.
* Direct and mentor the team to meet scheduled train availability and reliability targets.
* Monitor maintenance performance to meet contractual milestones and manage risks effectively.
* Implement Lean methodologies and drive continuous improvement processes.
* Liaise openly with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and relationships.
* Manage team performance by setting clear KPIs, conducting appraisals, and developing succession plans.
Key Requirements
* Extensive leadership experience in production/maintenance environments, preferably within rail or related industries.
* Expertise in Lean principles, business improvement techniques, and resource planning systems.
* Proven ability to manage safety, quality, and environmental requirements to meet industry standards.
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize, plan, and execute complex tasks efficiently.
