Be part of something new in Australian hospitality.
We're not just building properties, we're creating destinations where people gather, connect and celebrate.
As Kokoda enters an exciting new chapter, we're bringing our signature design and lifestyle excellence into hospitality with The Angel of Malvern — a reimagined, multi-level heritage pub transformed into a contemporary destination of modern luxury, timeless charm and community spirit.
Featuring a welcoming public bar and bistro, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, cocktail lounge and intimate private event spaces, The Angel of Malvern will deliver casual luxury for the community — a place for locals to unwind, connect and celebrate.
We're now seeking an HR Advisor- Hospitality to help bring this landmark venue to life.

What You'll Do
Support the Head of HR in delivering recruitment for all pre-opening roles – leadership, Front-of-House and Back-of-House – ensuring both targeted quality hires and efficient volume recruitment.

Interpret and apply the Hospitality Industry (General) Award **** to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate induction and mandatory training (RSA, food safety, WHS etc.).
Provide on-the-ground HR support to leaders and staff once operational.
Advise on performance, conduct and engagement, building a people-first culture.
Support leadership capability and retention initiatives that keep our team inspired.
About You
You're approachable, practical and energised by fast-paced hospitality.
You love being the calm, capable person everyone relies on.
You'll also bring:
4–6 years of HR experience, with direct experience in a hospitality environment (pre-opening and/or operational)
Strong working knowledge of HIGA and Fair Work requirements.
Proven success recruiting and onboarding hospitality teams across all levels, preferably at scale.
Hands-on and detail-driven with strong organisation skills.
Confident communicator who builds trust and rapport quickly.
