Support the Judge in managing Chambers and Court, assist with legal research and judgment preparation.
Purpose of Position
Provide administrative support to the Judge and the Court.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Conduct Court proceedings, transcribe orders, manage courtroom.
* Assist with day-to-day management of chambers, respond to enquiries, manage Associate inbox.
* Undertake legal research, summarise key authorities, prepare research materials.
* Manage cases, enter data into Court's case management systems.
* Prepare matters for Court and Judge, including case summaries, file maintenance.
* Assist with judgments, complex research, editing for publication.
* Perform general duties as required.
Requirements
Mandatory qualifications in law, strong academic record. Ability to travel on circuits as required.
