IPA has been providing quality staffing solutions across Australia for over 30 years and has a strong partnership with the Queensland Government. We are partnering with our client to source a **Principal Project Officer** in Brisbane.
As a **Principal Project Officer **you will play a key role in leading initiatives in Far North Queensland to develop and enhance biosecurity measures in the region.
**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Lead the development of project proposals, reports, submissions, briefing notes, evaluations, advice and budgets as part of a response plan
- Review and refine project scope, whilst managing stakeholder expectations
- Oversee the development and management of project communications
- Negotiate, schedule and manage the delivery of project outputs and resources
- Utilise recognised project management methodologies and software
- Undertake risk and issue identification, assessment and mitigation activities
- Extensive experience in leading multifaceted projects successfully
- Project Management qualifications will be highly regarded
- Ability to travel to remote Qld locations as required
- Unrestricted 'C' Class driver's licence
- Fully vaccinated against covid-19
