Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of complex water projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
* Manage and grow key client relationships, focusing on major stakeholders across NSW.
* Oversee project resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality results.
* Take the lead in business development activities, preparing proposals and presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the growth and excellence of the Australian water industry through innovation within the company, client organisations, and the broader body of professionals.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental or Civil Engineering (or related field) with relevant experience in water resources/Integrated Water Management within a consulting environment.
* A strong technical foundation in hydrology/catchment modelling, water-sensitive urban design, and modelling software, including TUFLOW FV/Source, TUFLOW Catch, MUSIC, MIKE.
* Proven project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and execution of water management projects.
* Knowledge of integrated water management principles, practices, and limitations, including water, nutrient, and energy balance.
* Ability to formulate project scope and guide client direction of planning projects.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
* A strategic mindset and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining a focus on delivering quality results.
* A desire to bring positive change to the Australian water industry and a passion for Australian waterways and their community values.
