About the Role – Goulburn Base Hospital (Southern NSW LHD)
Position Available: RN – Mental Health (Inpatient and/or Community)
Make a real impact in a major regional service. Join a supportive Mental Health team in Australia's first inland city, with rotation options, education support, and easy access to Canberra and Sydney.
Service context: Goulburn Base Hospital is a larger regional hub with comprehensive services; the Mental Health team delivers recovery-oriented care across acute inpatient and community settings.
Location: Goulburn, Southern Tablelands — approx. 1 hour to Canberra; direct road/rail links to Sydney.
Key Duties
* Comprehensive MH assessment, risk formulation, care planning, and therapeutic engagement.
* Safe medication administration (incl. depots) and physical health monitoring.
* De-escalation and behavioural support using least-restrictive practice.
* Discharge planning and community follow-up within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Requirement to apply for this role
* Candidates must be AHPRA registered and have ANMAC (For PR sponsorship) completed with the correct ANZSCO code for the position
* Required Codes: ANZSCO 254422 Registered Nurse (Mental Health)
* SOC 482 or WHV pathways: ANMAC not required (AHPRA and experience in Mental Health essential)
