Located on the banks of the Swan River, near the University of Western Australia, **Wonil Hotel** is a recent build 4 star boutique hotel offering 66 rooms (most with balconies and views over the Swan River), an 80-seater restaurant with a Western Australian food and wine focus, along with an outdoor terrace designed to host unique events for up to 100 pax.
We are seeking a forward-thinking, innovative and experienced **Sales & Events Manager**.
**As our next Sales & Events Manager reporting directly to the General Manager, you will**:
- Consult with key stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for brand awareness and customer engagement across multiple market segments 
- Be responsible for assisting in defining and upholding the brand culture and standards, while effectively delivering the brand promise 
- Understand and contribute to rate negotiation and contracts 
- Maintain clear communication and direct relationship with the General Manager 
- Display senior marketing experience and sales understanding gained within the accommodation sector
**What we are looking for**:
- Tertiary qualified in marketing, communications or similar degree 
- Approximately 1-3 years' experience in a sales or marketing role 
- Someone who is highly organised and motivated, with excellent communication skills 
- Experience in the hospitality sector or events would be beneficial, but not essential 
- An innovative thinker with strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
