Visualisation Expert
We are seeking an experienced Visualisation Expert to join our team. As a key member of the Hunter Class Frigate program, you will play a crucial role in driving innovative technical publication solutions.
Your responsibilities will include producing high-quality technical illustrations that meet all requirements, including safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with a team of technical authors, illustrators, and multimedia experts to develop technical documentation and contribute to project plans relating to illustration management, production, and validation activities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Produce technical illustrations ensuring product meets all requirements, including safety and regulatory standards.
* Undertake assigned technical illustrating activities in accordance with identified project directives and standards.
* Develop technical documentation in accordance with appropriate standards.
* Contribute to project plans relating to illustration management, production, and validation activities.
* Utilise illustration tools effectively to undertake illustration development and verification activities.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Diploma or formal qualification in Technical Illustrating/Graphic Design/Drafting or equivalent industry experience. Your experience in Technical Illustrating Services and software is essential, as well as your ability to understand, communicate effectively with, and influence colleagues within and outside the immediate team to implement business requirements.
You will also have well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality, and cost. Good written and verbal communication skills, along with intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are also required.
