As a key member of our purchasing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Purchasing Coordinator in meeting our business requirements for theme park operations. This includes procurement and inventory management tasks.
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Purchasing Assistant. Key responsibilities include reviewing purchase orders, investigating outstanding orders, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
* Review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and issue to suppliers
* Update purchase orders with amended delivery dates
* Investigate and resolve outstanding purchase orders and close off where required
* Liaise with Shared Services regarding purchase orders to avoid discrepancies
* Formulate reports to improve the purchasing process
* Update supplier quotes and product information into our system
* Investigate and resolve supply queries with suppliers
* Liaise with team members to ensure all delivery requirements are met
