As a Specialist Family Violence Service Professional, you will be part of an integrated practice framework, working closely with other practitioners to increase the safety of women and children experiencing family violence.
About the Role
The Specialist Family Violence Service Professional will be based within The Orange Door network, working in close partnership with other services to provide a comprehensive response to family violence. Key responsibilities include:
* Screening, assessment, and short-term response to incoming referrals for people experiencing family violence.
* Collaboration with other practitioners to enhance the safety of women and children affected by family violence.
* Compliance with relevant information sharing legislation and utilization of the MARAM Framework.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of family violence, including a thorough understanding of MARAM, the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme, and the Child Information Sharing Scheme.
* Experience working in complex service delivery contexts related to family violence.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Expertise in stakeholder partnerships and self-management.
* Post-Graduate qualifications in Social Work – Family Violence Stream or similar training in working with Family Violence.
