About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spray Painter to join our team. As a full-time position, you will undertake quality workmanship to return vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mix and match vehicle colours after preparation and scheduling for painting.
* Develop and maintain a colour library.
* Prepare, prime, and paint vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements, following paint supplier's process.
* Buff and denib vehicles.
* Carefully handle all vehicles.
* Note any extra paint work required that is not quoted for.
* Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
* Keep work bay and workshop areas clean.
* Coach apprentices when required.
About You:
* Trade qualified Spray Painter.
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter.
* Strong commitment to working safely.
* Excellent communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
* Own tools to fulfill the role.
