Job Role
We deliver tailored therapy services, directly collaborating with local communities and educational institutions.
A National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered Positive Behavior Support Early Intervention service is provided to participants under their NDIS plans.
The position involves delivering services across Perth metro, regional areas and other remote cities and towns across Western Australia.
This role will be based in Canning Vale, with offices also located in Osborne Park.
Opportunities exist to support remote clients via flexible work arrangements, subject to suitability and availability.
The position requires a commitment to regular travel, approximately one month per year for 5-10 days, depending on case load.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, including observations and data collection, to develop behavior support plans and functional behavioral assessments.
* Support NDIS participants with disability, their carers, family and significant others by providing training and support in interventions and strategies outlined in the behaviour support plans.
* Enable participants to meet their person-centered goals.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team and have the ability to lead a team and support other core practitioners.

Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in an Allied Health background or Behavioral Science.
* Board certified Behavior Analyst or over 2 years experience in delivering Positive Behavior Support.
* Demonstrated experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
* Working with Children's card, National police clearance and current driving license.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
