As a Family Contact Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting safe family contact for young people in care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport and supervise family contact visits
* Prepare and submit clear, detailed reports after each visit
* Collaborate with Case Managers to support care plans
* Identify and report any child protection concerns that may arise during the contact process
* Ensure that all visits are managed in the best interest of the child
Requirements:
Diploma in Community Services (or related field)
* Understanding of mandatory reporting requirements and experience working in Out-of-Home Care
* Valid Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, First Aid certification, and NDIS clearance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Able to effectively manage conflict and work collaboratively with diverse families
* Strong understanding of child safety and car restraint laws
