Overnight Accommodation Officer/Supervisor
This role involves providing daily care and development of students, ensuring their wellbeing. The successful candidates will provide support to students, ensuring their physical, emotional, social, and cultural wellbeing.
* The candidate should have demonstrated experience working with young people in a residential, educational, youth work or care setting.
* A sound understanding of adolescent development, child protection, and trauma-informed care is essential for this position.
* The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop respectful, caring relationships with young people.
* The Overnight Accommodation Officer/Supervisor must be able to respond calmly and effectively to challenging behaviours, using appropriate behaviour management strategies and demonstrating resilience in high-pressure situations.
The hours are negotiable and can vary from casual to full-time hours. The college is open to students from schools across various regions in South Australia, and for students who are unable to travel daily, supervised overnight accommodation is available on site.
