The Role This is a high-impact sales role focused on driving growth for an innovative hospitality technology business. You’ll be responsible for winning new clients, building relationships with independent motel and small hotel operators, and demonstrating how automation and smart access technology can transform their operations. This is not a purely desk-based position. When you are not pipelining and planning, you'll be on the phone, visiting properties, conducting demos, building trust with owners and closing deals. You’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, and support clients through initial onboarding. Reporting directly to the founders, you’ll play a key role in scaling the business nationally. Key Responsibilities Actively generate new business through cold calling, walk-ins, referrals and proactive prospecting — bringing a true hunter mentality to pipeline development Identify, prospect and acquire independent motel and small hotel clients Conduct in-person site visits and tailored product demonstrations Educate operators on the operational and financial benefits of offered system Manage the end-to-end sales process from first contact through to signed agreement Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline Support new clients through initial onboarding and system rollout Travel extensively both locally and interstate to develop new markets Represent the business professionally within the accommodation industry The Candidate You’re commercially driven, relationship-focused and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving start-up environment. 3–5 years’ B2B sales experience (hospitality, tech, SaaS or property highly regarded) Strong understanding of hotel or accommodation operations Familiarity with Property Management Systems (e.g. Little Hotelier, RMS, Abode or similar) will be strongly regarded High emotional intelligence with the ability to build rapport quickly Resilient, self-motivated and results-driven Tech-savvy and confident explaining systems to non-technical operators Willing and able to travel locally and interstate Ideally based in southeast Queensland (Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast etc), but will consider NSW locations for the right candidate.
