A well-established local commercial construction company in Canberra is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor / Procurement Officer with 2–5 years' experience to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected ACT builder delivering a mix of commercial, education, community and mixed-use projects. You'll work closely with an experienced Project Managers, gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle.
The Role
You will play a key role across both cost management and procurement functions, including:
Preparing BOQs, take-offs and cost plans
Letting and negotiating subcontract packages
Managing procurement schedules and subcontractor engagement
Contract administration and variations assessment
Cost tracking, forecasting and reporting
Supporting project teams to ensure budgets and timelines are met

About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has 2–5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or Contracts/Procurement role
Has experience within commercial construction (head contractor or consultancy)
Holds a relevant degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
Is commercially minded with strong negotiation skills
Has strong attention to detail and confidence working with subcontractors
Is motivated to build a long-term career within the Canberra market
