Who they're looking for
This role is suited to a Director or Special Counsel with strong property law expertise and experience supporting corporate transactions. You'll play a key role in advising on the property components of major M&A deals and joint ventures, working alongside M&A Lawyer and senior corporate and commercial specialists to deliver seamless deal execution. Experience in property funds would be highly regarded.
Key responsibilities
Lead property due diligence and advise on risk, title, and structuring for M&A transactions
Draft and negotiate sale agreements, lease transfers, and property-related transaction documents
Advise on property aspects of acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures
Work closely with corporate, tax, and financial advisory teams throughout deal execution
Mentor and develop lawyers within the property and corporate group
Contribute to client relationship management and business development initiatives
About you
Experienced property lawyer with a strong transactional background
Demonstrated experience supporting corporate or M&A transactions
Skilled in due diligence, negotiation, and commercial structuring
Confident managing multiple stakeholders and high-value matters
Leadership capability with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
