Senior Analyst - Financial Planning and Analysis
Our team is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for Macquarie’s Risk Management Group, as well as Legal, Governance, and Internal Audit.

What role will you play?
You will proactively support the Finance team to service a wide range of stakeholders, including Risk Management Group Division teams, Projects & Change, and Technology. Your role will involve providing insights and analysis to help manage the Risk Management Group’s cost base and establish strategic objectives. You will analyze and report financial results, monitor financial drivers and cost recovery processes, and contribute to developing financial models to guide business decisions, supporting strategic reviews and forecasting cycles.
What you offer
- 4+ years’ experience within a financial planning and analysis or treasury role
- Relevant tertiary qualification, including actuarial, accounting, economics, engineering, or mathematics
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with an ability to understand and succinctly explain large and complex data sets
- Experience with budgeting, profit and loss, and balance sheet reporting

Our Risk Management Group functions as an independent, centralized team responsible for review, challenge, oversight, monitoring, and reporting of Macquarie’s material risks. We aim to manage current risks and anticipate future risks across divisions including compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk, prudential, and central.
