**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology to join School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.
Dr Stephen Daley is a co-founding scientist of a company, Resseptor Therapeutics, which aims to develop new therapies for autoimmune diseases and cancer. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work on developing a T-regulatory cell-based immunotherapy for autoimmune diseases.

**About the area**
School of Biomedical Sciences sits within the Faculty of Health, Academic Division and is responsible for providing innovative undergraduate degree programs in Medical Laboratory Science and Biomedical Science, and contributes to several other degree programs across the University. The School's research is focused on primary and applied questions of how the human body works, in efforts to improve our quality of life. Teaching is carried out in new state-of-the-art learning spaces and laboratories, and our researchers enjoy world class facilities in multi-campus Institutes and collaborative research centres, closely aligned with translational and industry drivers. Areas of research strength include:

These areas contribute to specialty undergraduate teaching in anatomical sciences, cell and molecular biology, human biochemistry and physiology and infectious diseases.
**What you need to succeed**
- Completion of a PhD in an area of Immunology, Cellular Biology or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge with strong background in cellular and molecular immunology techniques
- High-level communication skills, including clear and effective verbal communication, and demonstrated written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and constructively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to manage and maintain accurate records and data, with strong attention to detail.
