Hybrid work environment Play an important part shaping the future of our iconic Australian institution Work within a team to deliver a major construction project liaising with internal and external stakeholders About the Workplace Team Working within the Bank's Workplace department, the major construction project team is responsible to deliver the redevelopment of the Bank's head office in Sydney. This role reports into the Project Director and works closely with the internal team and external service providers such as project managers and cost and programme specialists. About the role Collaborate closely with the project team, procurement, external legal advisers and internal legal team to develop and manage effective commercial contracts to support project delivery. Ability to identify and support the management of legal and commercial risks and issues and assist the team to develop and implement plans to mitigate risk. Establish contract performance management procedures and assist the team with managing contract performance. About you Ability to negotiate, establish and manage effective commercial contracts with contactors, vendors and suppliers. Expertise in proactive and pragmatic commercial advice on a major project / business function, raising legal risks or issues for consideration by legal advisers. Strong due diligence and documentation practices including the provision of accurate, expert and timely advice and recording of information and reporting on all aspects of commercial contract management.
