Senior Analyst, Fixed Income Operations
Job Description
The primary function of this role is to provide operational support for the fixed income products on the ASX settlement system. This includes understanding and operating the Austraclear and ASX Collateral systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders including banks, major corporations, custodians, fund managers, local governments, system vendors, compliance officers, and regulators to deliver services.
* Act as the primary contact point for resolving issues and queries raised by internal and external customers.
* Support customer readiness of new products and client onboarding through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
* Identify and implement process improvements to reduce operational risk and meet internal and external audit requirements.
* Assist in the operationalization of new products and services or technology upgrades.
* Deliver prompt and efficient notifications regarding changes and outages affecting critical operating systems.
* Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for Fixed Income operations as part of the team's overall performance management strategy.
* Provide senior leadership support to the Manager, Fixed Income Operations, and act as their primary delegate where required.
