Working closely with our teams in Customer Success, Delivery, and Operations, we ensure financial integrity while driving strategic decision-making. This role joins a high-impact team that supports global expansion, including our key markets in the US, Europe and APAC, and will play a crucial role in setting up the finance function from the ground up in the APAC region.About the roleWe’re looking for a Finance manager to take ownership of our APAC finance operations and support broader regional activities. This is a senior-level role, ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, thrives on autonomy, and brings strong technical finance expertise.In this role, you’ll set up and lead a small regional finance team, develop core processes, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to financial reporting and strategic decision-making. You’ll be at the center of creating a high-functioning finance function that enables the business to operate confidently and compliantly in Australia, Japan, New Zealand and beyond.What you'll doLead the establishment and day-to-day running of the finance function for the APAC regionLead on the completion of year end audits and preparation of the annual reportsManage a small team, including a management accountant and indirect reports (e.g. Accounts Payable and outsourced teams in Japan)Ensure local compliance across tax, payroll, reporting, and regulatory filingsManage cashflow and treasury operationsOwn month-end reporting activitiesPartner with internal teams to support project delivery and align finance with business milestonesWork with external stakeholders and clients on contract support and financial processesContribute to the design and implementation of scalable finance systems and toolsCollaborate with other regional finance leads to drive global consistency and process improvementWhat you'll needA recognized accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)Understanding of IFRS and regional GAAPExperience in tax, payroll, and compliance requirementsBackground in managing or building finance teamsPrevious work in SaaS or tech-driven environments is highly desirableStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience with tools like NetSuite is a plusIf this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you.Studies have shown that some groups of people, like women, are less likely to apply to a role unless they meet 100% of the job requirements.
