Laboratory Analyst – Food Chemistry
Location: Dandenong South, Victoria, Australia
Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across multiple industries. The Laboratory Analyst within the Food Chemistry Laboratory is responsible for performing analytical methods, operating equipment/analytical instruments, and managing sample registration and disposal.
Responsibilities
* Perform analytical methods in the Food Chemistry Laboratory.
* Operate analytical equipment and instruments (e.g., IC, GC, HPLC).
* Register samples and oversee sample disposal.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all analytical activities.
Qualifications
* Diploma in Science/Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent Food Testing experience preferred).
* Tertiary qualifications not essential but will be valued.
* Experience in a Commercial Food laboratory is an advantage.
* Experience using different analytical instruments (IC/GC/HPLC) and sample preparation techniques.
* Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
