Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic asset allocation models, working closely with fund managers and other team members to identify investment opportunities and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic asset allocation models to optimize portfolio returns
* Conduct fundamental research on global macroeconomic trends and market developments to inform investment decisions
* Work closely with fund managers and team members to identify investment opportunities and mitigate risks
* Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including Bloomberg and Excel, to support investment decisions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement investment strategies
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* University graduate preferably majored in quantitative finance, financial engineering, risk management, or statistics
* Strong academic performance
* Over 3 years of experience in multi-asset, asset allocation, macroeconomic research or quantitative research areas
* Strong statistical and financial modeling skills
* Proficient in Bloomberg, Excel and R/Python programming
* Good understanding in the financial market and various asset classes
* Fast learner and self-motivated
* Passion for an investment career path
