About the Role
Our Village Managers are key leadership positions that blend sales, team and community building. This position is responsible for delivering positive customer experiences and service delivery to residents, and spans all aspects of managing a retirement village, including operational, lifestyle and governance, to ensure the village provides high‐quality services in a safe and welcoming environment while operating within budget and meeting compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
* Leading and supporting team members, residents, and contractors to create a safe, welcoming, and vibrant community
* Managing resident welfare, facilities upkeep, and compliance with RVA standards and legislation
* Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance
* Highlighting the features and benefits of retirement community living to prospective residents
* Promoting the profile of RSL LifeCare in the local area by building relationships with businesses, community groups and industry forums to promote the village
* Implementing the Home Care strategy within the village and supporting awareness‐raising activities
About You
* Whilst prior aged care sector experience will be highly regarded, we're seeking people with prior experience in an operational management capacity within a service sector
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and an ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to make decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experience, applying consideration to mitigate areas of risk.
* Experience in leading and motivating teams, managing performance and employee wellbeing, and delivering on accountabilities.
* Computer and technology proficient.
* Excellent time and project management skills.
* A positive and flexible nature.
* Current First Aid and CPR qualification.
