Technical Sales Role Overview
Establish and maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities for growth, provide technical solutions and collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets in the conveyor equipment sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a background or strong understanding of mechanical or engineering concepts, especially around conveyors or bulk handling. They should have proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers in mining, quarrying or industrial environments. A personable and confident individual who can quickly establish trust with planners, engineers and site managers is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and grow existing client relationships across mining, quarrying and industrial sectors.
2. Identify and convert new opportunities through prospecting and site engagement.
3. Conduct walk-throughs to understand customer needs and provide tailored conveyor solutions.
4. Recommend appropriate components and engineered solutions to improve client operations.
5. Work closely with internal teams and field application specialists to deliver high-quality outcomes.
6. Track activity, contribute to sales planning and meet key performance and revenue targets.
