PDP Fine Foods (Wicked Sister) | Ingleburn, NSW
$55-$60/hour + 30% shift loading | Permanent Full-Time
Why Night Shift at Wicked Sister?
Let's be honest – night shift isn't for everyone. But if you're an electrician who enjoys the autonomy of working when it's quieter, likes solving problems without constant interruptions, and values being well-compensated for your skills, here's what we offer:
* Premium pay: Base rate PLUS 30% shift loading on every hour worked ($71.50-$78/hour total)
* Primarily Monday to Friday (8pm-4:06am) – occasional weekend work for shutdowns/projects
* Experienced technical leadership – direct access to a leader with an industrial electrical background who genuinely understands the work and has your back
* A solid night crew – work alongside our trusted production team and maintenance fitter. It's a tight-knit group that works well together
The Company
Wicked Sister started with one person and a vision, and we're now Australia's leading chilled dessert manufacturer. Our products are in Coles, Woolworths, and major retailers & foodservice channels nationally. We've grown to over 100 team members and we're continuing to expand. Our Ingleburn facility is a high-care dairy manufacturing environment where quality and safety matter – if you take pride in doing things right, you'll fit in well here.
The Role
You'll be responsible for all electrical maintenance during night operations. This means planned preventative electrical maintenance, diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, troubleshooting PLCs and control systems, and ensuring production lines are electrically sound for the next shift. You may occasionally assist our night shift fitter on larger projects, but this is fundamentally an electrician role focused on electrical systems and equipment.
What We Need From You
* Trade qualified Electrician with current licence
* 5+ years as a maintenance or industrial electrician – you need solid electrical maintenance experience and a proven track record
* Manufacturing environment experience essential (food manufacturing highly regarded)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with electrical systems, PLCs, motor control circuits, and automated production equipment
* Safety-first mindset and leads by example
* Independent problem-solver who knows when to escalate
* Experience with preventative maintenance programs
This is an electrician role requiring electrical expertise. If you're primarily a fitter or mechanic, this position isn't the right fit.
(Not suitable for domestic/residential electricians – industrial manufacturing is a different environment)
What You'll Get
Beyond the competitive rate and shift loading, we offer additional paid leave benefits like Birthday Leave & Wellness Leave, Perkbox retail discounts, quality PPE and tools, and a culture where people are genuinely valued. We're building our maintenance capability – if you have ideas to improve systems and processes, we want to hear them.
