* Summary of the role: An opportunity exists for a newly qualified Specialist Obstetrician & Gyneacologist to join the team at The Mercy Hospital for Women for a 12 month fixed term. The role will include supervised work within both the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Departments, including the outpatient department, emergency department, operating theatres and labour ward, as well as participating in the on call roster. The role will be supported by the Clinical Directors of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and by the broader consultant workforce.

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.
