Project Manager – Operational Technology & Cyber Uplift
The role An experienced Project Manager is required to lead multiple cyber uplift initiatives across an operational technology (OT) environment supporting critical infrastructure assets. This role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering security and technology improvements while maintaining strong governance, assurance and stakeholder alignment.
You will operate in a complex, high-risk environment, managing schedules, scope, risks, issues, dependencies and budgets, while coordinating a wide range of internal teams, managed service providers and specialist vendors. The role requires a confident delivery lead who can balance technical complexity with structured project control and executive-level reporting
What you'll be doing
* Lead end-to-end delivery of OT and cyber uplift initiatives within a structured governance environment
* Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams
* Coordinate complex stakeholder and vendor engagement, ensuring delivery meets cyber security, compliance and quality standards
* Oversee implementation of cyber uplift controls and maintain governance artefacts, including RASCI and reporting
* Coordinate testing, transition to operations and handover activities to ensure operational readiness
* Manage procurement and contract activities in line with agreed scope, cost and quality parameters
* Prepare high-quality reports, briefs and advice to support senior leadership decision-making
* Represent the project function in internal forums, interagency working groups and governance committees
* Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, sequencing and assurance practices
About you You are a seasoned Project Manager with strong experience delivering OT, infrastructure or cyber-related initiatives in complex, operational environments. You're comfortable acting as the single point of accountability, managing competing priorities, and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You'll bring:
* Demonstrated experience delivering OT, infrastructure or cyber security projects
* Strong governance, assurance, risk and financial management capability
* Experience coordinating vendors, contractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams
* Ability to translate technical detail into clear, executive-ready reporting
* Confidence working in high-risk, highly regulated environments
* Exposure to cyber standards and frameworks (e.g. Essential Eight, ISO 27001, ISM, IEC highly regarded
