We're on the lookout for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support leading the team at our premier Glassons Penrith store.
As our Assistant Store Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the business, leading our customer and operations teams, delivering next-level customer experiences, and driving strong commercial results.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
* Cultivating a strong, positive team culture aligned with Glassons' values
* Leading, coaching and inspiring a high-performing retail team to exceed customer expectations and sales goals
* Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and implement strategies to drive sales and enhance store performance
* Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the retail team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
* Responsible for the seamless execution of daily store operations, including supporting with strategic team rostering, inventory management, and oversight of financials.
* Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive brand experience for all customers
* Have a strong understanding of business acumen.
* Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising and brand presentation that reflects the Glassons' identity
* Ensuring the store meets all health, safety, security, and compliance standards
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail Store Manager role, preferably within the fashion industry
* Strong commercial awareness and a track record of delivering strong sales and operational results
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* A customer-first mindset and commitment to creating memorable in-store experiences
* Proficient in inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations
* Excellent communication, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
* A proactive and adaptable approach to work, able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
* A flexible, hands-on approach and availability to work weekends and peak trading periods
