About the role
We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Electrical Trades students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities:
Dubbo Campus - 1 x Permanent Full TimeTamworth Campus - 1 x Permanent Full TimeIn this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.
Proudly teach students how to connect electrical circuits, install wiring systems and solve problems related to electrical equipment.
Lead students through a range of practical experience in the installation and termination of electrical cables, accessories and appliances including socket outlets, light fittings, heating and cooking appliances.

Essential Requirements:
Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Electrotechnology/Electrician or equivalent.Hold appropriate Electrical Licence issued by NSW Fair Trading (Endorsed Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisors Certificate).Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course.Have a minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry.Highly regarded but not essential: Extra qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering, and Grid connected PV, Battery & Standalone Power Systems.
This is a targeted recruitment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in accordance with Rule 26 of the Government Sector Employment (General) Rules 2014 - Employment of eligible persons.
As such, preference will be given to candidates who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course.
Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
