About The Department
The Department of Education sets the foundations for quality early learning experiences and delivers world class education services.
The department hosts the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority which is responsible for regulating early childhood education and care services.
Your Role
Support the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority by consistently and fairly applying relevant legislation, standards, policies and guidelines in the regulation of the early childhood education and care sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes.
Responsibilities Include
Consistently and fairly apply relevant legislation, standards, policies and guidelines in the regulation of the early childhood education and care sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy.
Conduct assessment and rating of education and care services across Queensland.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes.
About You
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
* Experience as a regulator or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the early childhood education and care sector.
* Experience in conducting assessment and rating or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and complete training in conducting assessment and rating.
* Ability to analyse evidence and create analysis.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to prioritise and complete projects and tasks efficiently.
* Decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage risk and prioritise the work.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders.
