We are looking for a motivated and well-organised individual to join our Local Laws team, supporting the effective education and enforcement of our Local Law.
This is an essential position within our community and includes participation in an after-hours on-call roster.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in animal management and welfare, fire prevention and community compliance and safety, along with strong customer service skills. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.

What you need to Succeed
- Experience or understanding of local, state, or federal government law enforcement and related legislation will be highly regarded.
- Strong face-to-face customer service skills, with a positive approach to service delivery and community engagement.
- Demonstrated integrity when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate reports suitable for use as enforcement evidence.
- Confidence and/or experience in working with animals and livestock.
- Knowledge of, and passion for, animal welfare, fire prevention, and community compliance and safety.
- Confidence and/or experience in handling and working with animals and livestock.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software applications.
- A full, unrestricted driver’s licence is essential for this role.
