The Position We have a fantastic role available for a Staff Specialist (Rehabilitation Psychiatrist) looking for a permanent full‑time post in Queensland, Australia.
Brief outline of the role includes:
To provide an advanced standard of clinical care through the provision of assessment and treatment services to individuals presenting with psychiatric, emotional and/or behavioural disturbances to facilities within the health service, including those being treated under the Mental Health Act (2016)
To provide high quality clinical and non‑clinical services to benefit the patients of the health service, this includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications in Psychiatry, recognised by the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a specialist medical practitioner in Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
Equivalent experience in a Comparable Health System. UK/IE applicant who are working at Consultant grade are welcome to apply.
The Package Basic salary package of $273,019 - $346,157 plus relocation, bonuses and relevant add ons.
