A new possibility awaits an experienced and dedicated Clinical Midwife to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit at a private hospital in Perth. Permanent full-time and part-time opportunities with negotiable hours are available.
ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role, you will be:
* Providing expert clinical care to women and their babies throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods, focusing on evidence-based, woman-centered care and supporting safe practices;
* Acting as leader and educator within the healthcare team, guiding and supporting other healthcare professionals in complex situations;
* Showcasing your adept communication skills and your capacity to establish and nurture effective interpersonal connections;
* Engaging in constructive and collaborative communication with family members, a diverse group of healthcare professionals and community agencies.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Current registration with AHPRA;
* Extensive midwifery experience that demonstrates expert clinical and problem solving skills;
* A minimum of 5 years post registration experience, including 3 years' experience in maternity and obstetrics;
* Relevant post graduate qualification will be highly regarded;
* Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes.

REMUNERATION
On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, with a total of 722 beds and bays, is the major hospital for Perth's northern corridor that provides a range of medical and surgical services, maternity services, neonatal and paediatric services, aged care, and rehabilitation. The hospital has an Emergency Department, After Hours GP Clinic, and on-site MRI. Specialties include Medical Specialties, which include General Medicine, Respiratory, Gerontology, Cardiac Services, and Stroke Services Unit. Surgical Specialities include but are not limited to General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Paediatrics, and Gynaecology.
