About the Role
This role is primarily based at our modern, purpose-built Highton clinic, with occasional shifts at Geelong West and Lara when required. You'll work across all areas of general practice and be a key part of our vibrant and skilled team. Your role will involve:
* Support medical and surgical procedures.
* Deliver compassionate client service.
* Performing laboratory and clinical tasks, including blood collection and IV catheterisation.
* Maintain high standards of patient care
* Assist with nurse triage and consultations.
* Monitoring anaesthesia and post-operative recovery.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* General administrative duties.
* General cleaning responsibilities.
About You
Our ideal candidate will possess the below skills and qualities:
* Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a compassionate approach.
* Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
* Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
* Exceptional customer service and effective communication skills.
* Proven ability to take responsibility and see tasks through to completion.
* At least 2 years of experience in surgical nursing.
* Experience in emergency care is advantageous.
* Minimum of a Certificate IV or equivalent qualification.
