Welcome to Brunel Papua New Guinea We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team for a shutdown assignment at a well-established Papua New Guinea (PNG) gold mine. As a Shutdown Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical and instrumentation systems during shutdown periods. Your responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to safety standards and procedures, and collaborating with a team to meet project goals.
Requirements
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in industrial settings
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Experience with shutdown maintenance activities is highly desirable
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to work on a FIFO basis in PNG
