Responsibilities
Provide primary response to referrals made to Youth Axis and Youth Mental Health, North Metropolitan Health Service.
Consultation and support for referrers, clients and community members contacting the service.
Identify the nature and appropriateness of referrals and set priorities for management.
Collate information for presentation at intake meetings and provide assessment and support for young people and their families/carers experiencing mental health problems.
Conduct emergency assessments as required.
Work within the Youth Mental Health Integrated Triage Service.
