About the Role
Danone is seeking a driven and commercially minded Key Account Manager – Pharmacy to join our Specialised Nutrition team on a 12months fixed term contract role. This is a pivotal role where you will manage and grow strategic pharmacy customers, delivering strong commercial outcomes while building trusted, long‑term partnerships.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Channel Lead, you will be responsible for driving the sales plan, joint business planning, and execution of Danone Nutricia's Specialised Nutrition and Adult Functional portfolios across Chemist Warehouse and Sigma.
Working cross‑functionally with Category, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Field teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring excellent execution, sustainable growth, and win‑win customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Account Leadership
Act as the primary contact for key pharmacy customers, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
Develop and deliver Joint Business Plans (JBP/eJBP) aligned to Danone's category and channel strategy
Drive delivery of financial targets across core pharmacy customers and e‑commerce platforms
Commercial & Trade Management
Manage forecasts, trading plans, risks, and opportunities to deliver against annual targets
Lead commercial negotiations including promotions, terms, and price changes
Manage trade spend, customer claims, and investment optimisation using Danone systems
Category & Execution Excellence
Lead range reviews in partnership with Category teams to secure ranging, shelf, and merchandising gains
Drive best‑in‑class execution of NPD, promotions, and brand activity across in‑store and online
Partner with third‑party merchandising agencies to ensure strong in‑market execution
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Category, Field, Supply Chain, Finance, and eBusiness teams
Represent customer needs internally and ensure alignment across Danone functions
Culture & Ways of Working
Act as an ambassador for Danone's compliance, ethics, and HOPE values

About you
About You
You are a high‑performing Account Manager with a passion for building relationships and delivering commercial results. You enjoy ownership, thrive in fast‑paced environments, and are ready to grow your career within a purpose‑led, global organisation.
Ideally, you will have
1–2 years' experience in Key Account or Account Management
Experience in Pharmacy (Chemist Warehouse, Sigma) preferred
Strong commercial acumen with confidence working with numbers and data
Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
A proactive, resilient mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow
Formal negotiation training (e.g. GAP Partnership) is advantageous but not essential.
