Our NSW Government client is seeking a highly experienced economic analyst with proven leadership capabilities to assist its 'Data After Dark' project which aims to monitor and evaluate NSW's night-time economy. What you'll do:
* Develop tools and materials to help councils understand data and standard measures for the night-time economy
* Deliver 1-1 data coaching sessions with program participants
* Plan and develop customized night-time economy reports for councils
* Work with councils to explore use cases that maximise the value of available data
* Advocate for 'data champions' and 'night-time champions' in councils to strengthen data-informed decision-making and night-time economy narratives
What you'll bring:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, with demonstrated experience in economic data analysis
* Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to present economic concepts and findings clearly in plain English
* Excellent communication, engagement, and coaching skills
* Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders
* High integrity and sound judgement in handling sensitive data
* Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of analysis and reporting
