Job Opportunity: Client Service Manager (Mandarin Speaking)Locations: Melbourne, SydneySector: Wealth ManagementContract Type: Contract or Temporary, initial 12 monthsOur client, a leading global wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced equity markets-focused Client Service Manager with native Mandarin language skills in Melbourne or Sydney. This role involves high-volume, time-critical interactions with Private Client Advisors and their HNW/UHNW clients.Key Responsibilities:Handle all administrative client queries efficientlyManage client onboarding, including documentation and system entryMaintain client accounts and records in compliance with AML/CTF and KYC regulationsCoordinate IPOs and corporate actionsPrepare client valuations, asset allocations, and reportsAssist with asset transfers domestically and internationallyProcess stock settlements and follow up on outstanding fundsPrioritize adviser requests in a fast-paced environmentSupport logistics and planning for client eventsProvide translation support for marketing materialsBuild and maintain internal stakeholder relationshipsParticipate in cross-training and process improvement initiativesProactively communicate issues and solutions to clients and advisorsEnsure compliance with ethical standards, policies, and legislative requirementsUnderstand US and UK tax forms (e.g., W8BEN, CRS) and client consent processes (preferred)Key Skills and Knowledge:High attention to detail and strong literacy and numeracy skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organizational and communication skillsFundamental knowledge of financial advice processes, markets, and industry trendsFluent in written and spoken Mandarin and EnglishResilient with strong prioritization skillsGoal-oriented with initiative and driveQualifications:Desirable tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, or EconomicsRG146 qualification (or willingness to study towards)Experience in wealth management, stockbroking, or financial planningKnowledge of broking and portfolio management platforms (e.g., Praemium) is an advantageClient Service Manager experience is preferred but not mandatoryThis is a 12-month contract with competitive remuneration based on experience.
