What You'll Be Doing
Deliver professional social work services across inpatient and Emergency Department settings, providing essential support to patients and families during times of need.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and complex discharge planning.
Provide counselling, advocacy and referrals to appropriate community and support services.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team to ensure care is holistic, coordinated and responsive.
Enhance patient outcomes, promote emotional wellbeing and ensure dignity, respect and empowerment for all.
About You
Experience and motivation as a qualified Social Worker.
Bachelor in Social Work or equivalent with eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).
Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and advocacy skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice and NSW Health values.
Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with current NZ passport (or otherwise eligible under visa conditions). No visa sponsorship available.
