Job Description
Take full ownership of end-to-end flight preparation and import / export operations, ensuring compliance and seamless coordination across all critical freight terminal functions.
Permanent full-time opportunity located at Darwin Freight Terminal.
7-day rotational shift roster.

Qantas Freight is Australia's largest independent air freight services business, moving over 4,000 air freight shipments across more than 500 destinations globally.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise cargo build-up, manage dangerous goods, coordinate transhipments, and optimise cargo uplift.
Maintain clear, proactive communication with internal teams and airline stakeholders.
Ensure seamless, on-time performance aligned with aircraft schedules and customer commitments.
Serve as primary liaison for operational changes, ensuring smooth coordination across all critical functions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in a logistics, freight or airline environment.
Ability to work a 7-day rotational shift roster including night shifts.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid computer literacy.
Manual handling – ability to lift up to 25 kg.
Able to thrive both in team settings and when working independently.
Strong time management skills.
Previous face-to-face customer service experience and skills.
Ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification.
Open driver's licence and ability to obtain an Air-side Driver's licence.
Clear and meet all requirements of an ASIC.
