We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Construction Coordinators for an exciting large-scale commercial build project based in Newcastle.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established, purpose-driven organisation undertaking a significant corporate infrastructure project. Working closely with the Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the build from coordination through to completion.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will provide end-to-end coordination support across the project lifecycle. You will act as a central point of contact between internal stakeholders, builders, contractors and vendors, ensuring activities remain on schedule, compliant and within scope.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Construction Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination
* Managing project documentation, reporting and record keeping
* Coordinating schedules, meetings and contractor activities
* Processing and tracking invoices, purchase orders and budget documentation
* Liaising with builders, consultants and vendors to ensure seamless communication
* Monitoring timelines and assisting with risk and issue management
About You
* Previous experience in a Construction Coordinator, Project Officer, Contracts Administrator or similar role within commercial construction or large infrastructure projects
* Strong administrative and financial coordination experience (including invoicing and scheduling)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Proficiency in project management systems and Microsoft Office
